Call for Short Communications and Case Studies

Advances in Inclusive Education Research (AIER Journal) is now accepting submissions of Short Communications and Case Studies in inclusive education research.

Short Communications

  • Length: 2,500--3,000 words
  • Concise, focused findings or innovations in inclusive education practice
  • Abstract: 100--150 words

Case Studies

  • Length: 2,500--3,000 words
  • Real-world applications, classroom practices, or institutional approaches to inclusive education
  • Abstract: 150--200 words

All submissions must:

  • Be original and not under consideration elsewhere
  • Follow the AIER manuscript template
  • Be submitted via the online portal at submit.aierjournal.uk

AIER is committed to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed work that advances knowledge and practice in inclusive education across all levels and contexts. We welcome original research articles, theoretical perspectives, systematic reviews, and practice-based insights from researchers, practitioners, and educators worldwide. Early-career researchers and contributors from diverse geographical and cultural backgrounds are especially encouraged to submit. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, and there are no article processing or submission charges of any kind. Once we have received a sizeable number of accepted papers, the issue will be published promptly with a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) assigned to each article, ensuring permanent and citable access to all published work.
